HackerHub8 LLP recognizes the importance of protecting confidential information shared between our organization, clients, partners, students, and researchers. This Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Policy (NDA) establishes guidelines for safeguarding sensitive information obtained during cybersecurity services, research activities, training programs, and business collaborations.
Definition of Confidential Information
Confidential information includes any non-public information disclosed by HackerHub8 LLP or its clients during engagements or collaborations.
- Security assessment reports and vulnerability findings
- Penetration testing results and technical analysis
- Client infrastructure details or system configurations
- Proprietary cybersecurity tools and methodologies
- Source code, scripts, or research materials
- Business plans, strategies, and operational information
- Personal or organizational data shared during engagements
Obligations of Confidentiality
Individuals or organizations receiving confidential information agree to:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Use confidential information only for authorized purposes.
- Prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of confidential data.
- Implement appropriate security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Immediately notify HackerHub8 LLP if a confidentiality breach occurs.
Permitted Disclosures
Confidential information may only be disclosed under the following circumstances:
- With written authorization from the information owner.
- When required by applicable laws or legal processes.
- To authorized personnel involved in the cybersecurity engagement.
- To regulatory authorities when legally obligated.
Protection of Security Findings
Cybersecurity reports, vulnerability discoveries, and penetration testing findings are considered highly sensitive information.
- Security reports must not be publicly disclosed without authorization.
- Researchers must follow responsible disclosure practices.
- Client infrastructure details must remain confidential.
- Security vulnerabilities must not be exploited or shared publicly.
Duration of Confidentiality
Confidentiality obligations remain in effect during the engagement and continue after the completion or termination of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Exceptions
Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that:
- Is publicly available without violation of this agreement.
- Was already known to the receiving party before disclosure.
- Is independently developed without using confidential information.
Breach of Confidentiality
Any unauthorized disclosure or misuse of confidential information may result in legal action and termination of agreements or services.
Governing Law
This Confidentiality Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under this policy shall fall under the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
Policy Updates
HackerHub8 LLP may update this Confidentiality Policy periodically to reflect operational or regulatory changes.
