1. Introduction

Welcome to HackerHub8 ("we", "us", "our"). HackerHub8 Company LLP is a DPIIT-recognized Startup India entity, registered under MSME and K-Tech Startup Karnataka, and certified under ISO 27001 and ISO 9001. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, community platforms, workshops, internships, training, cybersecurity consulting services, and security products (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

HackerHub8 provides cybersecurity services (VAPT, MDR, GRC, Security Operations, Consulting, Incident Response, Cyber Investigation, Security Awareness Programs), education and skilling programs (workshops, FDPs, SDPs, bootcamps, hackathons, internships, corporate training), and security products (Khetaka, Martinet, Cyber Law AI, and PlayCTF). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and HackerHub8 Company LLP.

Note: PlayCTF (playctf.in) has its own dedicated Terms & Conditions covering platform accounts, challenges, and events; where you use PlayCTF, that policy applies alongside this one.

2. Definitions

In these Terms, unless the context requires otherwise:

• "User", "You", "Your" — any person or entity using the Services.
• "Services" — the training, workshops, internships, community platforms, cybersecurity consulting services (VAPT, MDR, GRC, SOC, Incident Response, Cyber Investigation), security products (Khetaka, Martinet, Cyber Law AI, PlayCTF), and related materials offered by HackerHub8.
• "Content" — text, images, videos, code, tutorials or any materials provided on our platforms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for paid Services or enter legally binding contracts with HackerHub8. Minors may participate only with parental or guardian consent. Some Services may have additional eligibility requirements which will be disclosed before enrolment.

4. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Services you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. We may update the Terms from time to time; continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance.

5. Scope of Services

Our Services include (but are not limited to):

• Cybersecurity consulting: VAPT, MDR, GRC, Security Operations, Cyber Investigation, and Incident Response
• Security products: Khetaka (security gateway/firewall appliance), Martinet (agentic endpoint security platform), Cyber Law AI (compliance intelligence platform), and PlayCTF (cybersecurity skilling and CTF platform)
• Hands-on cybersecurity workshops, FDPs, and SDPs (online & offline)
• Virtual and on-site internships with project deliverables
• Security awareness programs, bootcamps, and hackathons for organizations, academia, and government agencies
• Community channels (Discord, Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp) governed by our separate Community Rules
• Research articles, publications, and educational content
• Certificate issuance and verification services

We may modify or discontinue Services at our discretion.

6. User Responsibilities

When using the Services you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Use tools, techniques and content only for lawful and ethical purposes.
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Respect other members and not harass or abuse anyone on our platforms.

7. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, networks, or services.
• Distribute malware, phishing content, or exploit code for unlawful purposes.
• Disclose client data or confidential information obtained during projects.
• Misrepresent certificates, credentials, or outcomes from our training.
• Use our Services to carry out attacks or illicit activities.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided by HackerHub8 (including text, designs, code, logos, and training materials) are our intellectual property unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works without written permission.

Content you submit to community spaces remains your property, but by posting you grant HackerHub8 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and use that content for community purposes.

9. Payment & Pricing

Fees for workshops, internships and services are published on our website or provided in quotes. All payments must be made using approved payment methods. Fees are non-transferable. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If a client requires GST-compliant invoicing, HackerHub8 will issue invoices with applicable taxes. For corporate engagements, payment terms will be specified in the proposal or contract.

10. Certificates & Verification

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of specified criteria. Certificates may include a verification ID or QR code. Any attempt to forge, alter or misuse certificates will result in account termination and possible legal action.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services you consent to such processing. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Cookies & Analytics

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HackerHub8 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees actually paid by you for the specific Service in question.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HackerHub8, its officers, employees and partners harmless from any claims, losses or damages arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your unlawful acts.

15. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Services if you breach these Terms, misuse resources, or act unlawfully. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations incurred prior to termination.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless the parties agree to arbitration in writing.

17. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated version on this page and update the "Effective Date". Continued use of Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
